About
The enemy is strategic amnesia.
Businesses have never had more information or less continuity. Company Arc exists to close that gap for the companies where it hurts most — the ones still running on one person’s memory.
Every business begins in one person
At the start, the owner is the company’s memory. They remember the customer conversations, the offers that failed, the reason the pricing is what it is, the warning signs, the promises made, the moments that changed direction. It works, and it works well, right up until it does not.
Growth fragments understanding
As the company grows, what it knows spreads across people, inboxes, dashboards, documents, chats and software. The business gains information and loses the thread connecting it. Each new tool remembers isolated facts perfectly. None of them remembers the arc.
AI accelerated output, not continuity
AI can now generate plans, research, campaigns and software faster than any of us can review them. But each answer begins from whatever context happened to be in that prompt. Without durable memory, faster execution just means a company can forget and contradict itself faster than before.
The problem was never missing data. It is that decisions detach from their reasons, and nobody notices until the reasons are needed again.
What Arc is trying to be
Company Arc remembers what the business believes, what it decided, why, what evidence supported it, and what happened next. It watches for the changes that matter and says plainly when an old assumption no longer holds. The owner stays in control — but stops being the company’s only memory.
The long-horizon goal is bigger than convenience. A business whose judgment lives in one person’s head is not really transferable. It cannot be handed over, stepped back from, or sold without a discount for the risk. A business that remembers can eventually thrive beyond the person who built it. That is the outcome we are building toward.
Who it is for
Owner-operated companies of roughly three to fifty people, where critical strategic context still lives in the owner’s head. Service businesses, agencies, operators, digital businesses with fragmented tools. Deliberately not startups chasing a fundraise, and deliberately not enterprises with a strategy function — both are well served already.
Why Zurvn
Zurvn takes its name from Zurvan, the primordial personification of time in ancient Persian mythology. This is founder inspiration rather than a claim to represent a complex historical tradition faithfully.
The connection is straightforward. Time is what reveals whether a belief was true. Memory is what connects a cause to its consequence. Judgment requires seeing more than the present moment. A company becomes wiser only when it can preserve what time teaches it.
A business cannot develop judgment if it cannot remember what time has taught it.
Where things stand
Company Arc is pre-launch. There is no product to buy, no customer results to quote, and no metrics worth putting on a homepage — so you will not find invented ones here. What exists is a clear thesis, a working method, and a small group of owner-operated companies helping build it. Founding Arc is how that group is formed.
Build a business that remembers.
